Andromeda Galaxy from my porch

Using my Pentax K5 DSLR with a 300mm lens
& the Astrotracking feature of the O-GPS hot-shoe
attachment.  Shutter was open for over 1 minute,
blow-up a bit, with minimal post-processing. It's
two Satellite Galaxies are barely visible. On my
Oceanside light-polluted Pismo Beach, CA porch
, I feel it is amazing that I can see a Galaxy from
1 million light years away, that is composed of
1 trillion stars...give or take 1-2...ha! :)
